| Want a one off flight to enjoy views of Vale of
White Horse from the air, experience gliding before deciding whether to
joining the club as a full member, or to get off to a flying start with a half
day intensive course? VoWHGC currently offers a range of Experience Gliding Introductory Gift Vouchers
designed to cater for all needs, from Trial Lessons to Half Day
intensive Courses and a "Mile High" Flight . After being 'Aerotowed' into the air by a powered aircraft the glider is released and you will experience flying as free as a bird. If you want you can try the controls under instruction from a British Gliding Association qualified instructor and experience the pleasures of silent flight. All flights are conducted in a two seat training glider with a British Gliding Association qualified instructor and all vouchers include two months free club membership during which you may make as many additional flights as you wish at the normal club member rates. Vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase and for most options can be purchased securely online via PayPal by clicking on the 'Buy Now' button next to your preferred option below. We can accept payment from all major credit and debit cards and you should receive instant email confirmation of your purchase from PayPal.
If you are buying the voucher as a gift and would like it made out to someone other than the purchaser, or you would like to provide us with any other information or instructions, please provide the relevant details in the "Additional Info for us" box which will appear before you finalise the purchase. Vouchers can also be purchased by post (see below for further details). You can also vouchers at the Vale Of White Gliding any weekend or bank holiday and if desired fly the same day subject to the weather (unless the flight is of a type requiring advanced booking). Please allow a minimum of one week for the vouchers to be delivered. If you join, after purchasing a trial lesson, the flight will be charged at members rates if you pay the appropriate subscription. We hope that one of these flight options will give us the opportunity to show you an exhilarating new world in the air and that you too will become a glider pilot and discover a challenging and friendly new sport. * Note: Vouchers which do not require booking can be used any weekend or bank holiday subject to the weather permitting (flying is not conducted during periods of heavy/constant rain, strong winds, fog, or low cloud). To use the voucher, holders should present themselves with the voucher at the airfield where they will have their name added to the flying list on a 'first-come, first-served' basis. Online PaymentPayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available). We will not have access to your private financial information (e.g. credit card or bank account numbers) during the transaction, so you can complete the payment while retaining security.
