|
The following was received from Colin McEwan:
"Fred Butcher passed away on Thursday 18th May.
Senior members will remember him as a member at South Marston.
More recently he provided the financial assistance that facilitated the
purchase of the tug at Sandhill Farm.
A farmer by profession, he was good company and a good man." |

Sweeney Tod
Not awarded recently. It dates from when the club had a bar and could be
awarded for good bar propping and story telling. Goes to Graeme Scott for
having the most memorable events of 2003; seeing the
tug engine stop and release him on climb out and another day landing out in
the K13 during an impromptu cross-country.
Eric Brown Memorial Prize & Clubman Cup:
Mike Leach for all his efforts over the year on behalf of the club.
